Our busy lives are full of schedules. They all differ from each other, ranging from short to lengthy and simple to complex. Depending on how much they affect our lives, we tend to worry more and get stressed out about them. As the next school year gets closer, scheduling for our new classes is now something to consider. All of my teachers, including my English teacher, have echoed that balance is the most important attribute of our schedule.

This balance doesn’t just apply to class scheduling, but to all aspects of scheduling. For adults, many complain about the struggle of finding a work-life balance. However, finding this balance will help to relieve the stress that comes with scheduling.

From a general perspective, the most important aspect of scheduling is prioritizing your activities. Once you have a clear set of activities that are unnecessary, consider removing them from your schedule. Many things we set aside time for get in the way of our schedule and absorb our time.
However, it’s important to keep time for activities that you enjoy. This downtime is important to avoid overloading yourself. As expected, allocate extra time for what’s at the top of your priority list. With all of this, keep flexibility in mind, as a rigid schedule limits your freedom.
Attaining balance isn’t something that comes instantly, but you’ll get better at it over time. To learn a bit more about achieving a schedule that works for you, check out this blog post that goes much more in-depth.
