After period of chaos and potential fear, our English teacher reminded us how important it is to take a break from everything. She encouraged us to spend time doing whatever makes us at peace. This could be studying away as a distraction, spending quiet time alone to reflect, or talking with others to build each other up.
I wasn't sure which method would best suite me, so I figured I would try multiple ways towards temporary earthly peace and see what works for me.
During our class hour, I listened to my classmates talk and share their concerns.
I spent time at home reflecting on what we discussed in my classes, along with my own thoughts.
In order to recreate my normal routine, I prepared for a competition coming up soon.

4. As a source of entertainment, I played videogames for a bit (Super Mario Odyssey).
Looking back at the day, I think all of the above ways worked for me. In the future, I'll try to balance my time between these, knowing that all of these methods were effective for me. I may try other means of getting some temporary peace, as I'm sure there are many more ways out there. Check out this website for a few more pathways to achieving earthly peace: https://www.positivityblog.com/inner-peace/. It is important for all of us to understand what works for us and what doesn't. It often takes a bit of trial and error or experimentation, but the result generally proves to be helpful.
